Buntingford Manor House

Buntingford Manor House in the town of Buntingford, in Hertfordshire, England was originally the home of the Lord of the Manor. This was the person who owned Buntingford.

Location

The Buntingford Manor House is on Market Hill, in between The Crown PH and Barclay's Bank.

Usage in Recent Years

The Manor House is now used as the Buntingford Heritage Centre where information on the history of the town can be found. It is also the headquarters for the Buntingford Town Council and Buntingford Town Youth Council. The upstairs of the building is leased as office space to local companies, including several travel agencies. Also, there is a Citizen's Advice Bureau to the side of the building, housed in an extension to the building. The bureau was under threat of closure, however it remains for the time being.
